New Year is traditionally a time of new beginnings… but I feel very much in limbo. Hopefully by the time Chinese New Year arrives it truly will be a new beginning… it feels close, but I’ve been saying that for a while now. It’s just the bureaucracy in the way at the moment.
So my choice reflects that sense of waiting.
It’s a title is a bit dramatic but the sentiment resonates, because I do have a great life and try to enjoy every day… as clichéd as it is, we only live once, and wishing days away is… well, time and our health are the most precious things we have. As I keep saying, the last few years have been tough. For now I’m checking the horizon and waiting for my ship to come in.
