On an almost daily basis for the past five months, I’ve spent most of my time at a desk with a view looking south from a 37th floor apartment in Kemang.
I didn’t realise it but that view was of Fatmawati and was to become the place I’m probably going to be based for the next year… likely two. And next week I move there… literally into the apartment building I’ve been staring at.
There’s a lot that’s still unknown about the project… I’ll talk more about it in a few weeks… but it feels like the culmination of a lifetime of experiences. I’ve fully invested in previous projects, but this is the first time I don’t see any ifs, buts, or maybes. It feels like a sure thing… hence this week’s song choice.
